How to survive a mugging

Do not argue or fight with a mugger unless your life is clearly in danger.

If you are reasonably certain that your attacker means to do you or a loved one harm, attack vital areas of your assailant’s body. Aim to disable him/her with your first blow by utilizing one of the following options.

Tijuana Violence

Recently, Tijuana had one of its bloodiest days ever with gangland-style shootings that left 15 dead and several wounded. Speculation is that the violence was spurred by a turf war between rival drug cartels. Additionally, in recent months, violence has steadily increased in Baja, Mexico and U.S. Tourists have been continually warned by the U.S. State Department about this violence as well as the increase in U.S. citizens being kidnapped in Mexico.
